September 11, 2001 Remembered

We watched a couple videos and read some books to learn about and remember 9-11-01. One book we read was written by a retired Lindbergh teacher and illustrated by her children. It was called The Day the World Changed by Deborah Nelson Linck. We also read September 12: We Knew Everything Would Be Alright which was written and illustrated by Masterson Elementary Students. We watched a video made by an elementary principal and one of the book The Man Who Walked Between the Towers. While discussing this terrible day, we focused on the heroes, good memories, and the strength of our country and people.
