I have set up an assignment in ALEKS. This should take only a few minutes to complete. I have also set up Quick Tables. This is the program we are using instead of Xtramath. The initial assessment takes some time, but does not need to be completed in one sitting. We will be accessing ALEKS and our math ebook during school as well. Writing Lesson - Making Lists

We had a great time today thinking about lists! We worked together on some lists, then got right to work in our writer's notebooks. Here's a pic of our group work!

After spending time learning about each other, we tried our first project in groups. We worked in our pods, and had a lot of fun while showing creativity and cooperation. Check out these results!

First Day of School!

We had a great first day of third grade! I couldn't bear to put these in a collage or make them smaller. Sorry for the long post, but these are priceless! What a wonderful group.
