CHECK OUT OUR CLASSROOM DOOR! We had fun painting our snow "bricks". Everyone loves hearing all the passers-by! We've even fooled a few with our false door!

Veteran's Day

 We had a wonderful Assembly to honor our Veterans. Thank you to all who came and to all those who were there in spirit. We are grateful for all you have done for us and our country. Check out this video of Sappington students singing "Oh, I Love America" and a few pics of our amazing veterans.

Narrative Writing Celebration

Rams Visit

We had a wonderful time making holiday cards for servicemen and women today! Employees from Edward Jones, Rams Staff, a rookie player Bennett Jones, and (our favorite) RAMPAGE the mascot came to our classroom. We worked to make special cards, lots of them! We used our friendly letter skills and made many nice cards that will give smiles to our troops. It was great to see our class enjoy doing something nice for others. 

Halloween Fun!

Thanks to all the parents who helped at our Halloween party. The kids all had a great time!

Our Fabulous (just a little chilly) Trip to Missouri Botanical Gardern

Here is an iMovie I made of our day at the Garden and picnic at Tower Grove Park. We had a great time and learned a lot. It was a wonderful way to extend what we have learned about plants. I can't say enough about how well-behaved, polite, and engaged the entire third grade was. The docents that gave the guided tours made a point to let the teachers know what a good group of kids we had! Way to show what our Blue Ribbon students can do!

Fun with Our Kindergarden Buddies

We had great Halloween fun with our buddies. We shared our Halloween  jokes, made a pumpkin glyph, and read Halloween stories. It's always a morning full of smiles when we get to visit Mrs. Mertzlufft's room!
