Our Fabulous (just a little chilly) Trip to Missouri Botanical Gardern

Here is an iMovie I made of our day at the Garden and picnic at Tower Grove Park. We had a great time and learned a lot. It was a wonderful way to extend what we have learned about plants. I can't say enough about how well-behaved, polite, and engaged the entire third grade was. The docents that gave the guided tours made a point to let the teachers know what a good group of kids we had! Way to show what our Blue Ribbon students can do!

Fun with Our Kindergarden Buddies

We had great Halloween fun with our buddies. We shared our Halloween  jokes, made a pumpkin glyph, and read Halloween stories. It's always a morning full of smiles when we get to visit Mrs. Mertzlufft's room!

Working Together and Problem Solving with Mrs. Toomay

We brainstormed ideas and discussed what things we should say no to with Mrs. Toomay. Next, we worked together to figure out ways to help us do just that. Thanks Mrs. Toomay for a great lesson.

Community Masterpieces

We completed our study of communities with these wonderful letters and drawings of a community we'd like to visit. We were able to practice our writing skills as well as show all we have learned about a rural, suburban, or urban community. Everyone did a fabulous job!
