Seeds

Our study of plants and seeds is going very well. This week we will be looking at roots and stems. Two of our seeds are cooperating and following along right with our program!

We love going to our wonderful Sappington library and our lessons with Mrs. Czaicki. She read a great book Mary Louise Loses Her Manners by Diane Cuneo to us. We used our amazing visualizing skills to draw what we thought Mary Louise's manners look like to us.!

Personal Narrative Writing

We began working on our first published writing today. We will be writing personal narratives. This will be a fun project that will take a while to get through all the steps and processes to end up with a beautiful piece! Ask your child about the difference between writing a " watermelon" story vs. a "seed" story. Here is our first chart!
