8:35-8:55     Morning routine/work

8:55-9:45     Specials (A/C Days-Gym, B Day-Music, D Day-Art)

9:45-11:30   Daily 5 - Reading and Spelling

11:30-12:05 Lunch/Recess

12:05-1:05   Math

1:05-1:45     Daily 5 - Writing

1;45-2:05     Recess

2:05-3:15     Social Studies/Science

3:15-3:25     Planners/Pack Up

Room 42 is adjusting well to our schedule and we are getting into  a great groove. We have a wonderful class!

Popcorn Party Friday! 

We will celebrate our first class incentive on Friday at 2:30. Students may bring in their own electronics or play games in the classroom. I am so proud of them for earning this so quickly and I am happy to reward them for their character and hard work!

 

 

 

Check out the awesome job our class did with our communities lesson! They did such a great job on their buildings. Ask them to tell you what they learned about urban, suburban, and rural communities!

 

 

 

We had an awesome first day! I am so impressed by the kindness, respect, and PATIENCE shown by all my students. The first day is difficult with all the expectations and new routins to go over. Add in some anxiety and it can be a crazy day, but everything went amazingly well. Ask your child what synergy is and how we will be using it! We will be learning about our class library today and getting books. The only homework is to read, read, read for now! Please be sure your student is reading at least 20 minutes every day. Homework will be in their planners, please sign it every night.
